First off, a reminder that VCU will be conducting a test of their Alert System at Noon which will include the Sirens going off for about a minute, and there will be that event happening around the same time at the capital as discussed in the Megathread.
Now, I don't know about you, but every so often for no apparent reason I'll wake up hours before my alarm is set and no matter how hard I try, I can't get back to sleep, and today is one of those days for me. Sometimes I'll just get up and start a movie, others go out and watch the sun rise, and occasionally I figure I might as well whip out the work laptop and start the work day a bit early. For those of you out there that experience this, what do you do with your unexpected waking hours? And what are your plans for this chilly Wednesday?

(I also know that it's dated but since the next two matches don't interest me, I might as well do my review of Bowser VS Eggman)
Ā
I love Bowser vs Eggman, itās my favorite Death Battleās episode, but at no point with this setup does Eggman lose. I mean, he takes Bowser by surprise, being away from Bowser's castle so he doesn't have access to all his armies/mcguffins (in the event that he keeps them) and he doesn't know his opponent while Eggman brings his entire fleet in addition to the Death Egg so there must surely be something else in there (like mecha, robots or other mcguffins in reserve) and then if he was able to trap Bowser it's perhaps because he knows him or has done research on him. So why did he have no strategy in place in the fight?
Ā
Really I have the impression in the animation they minimized Eggman's army a lot, like the only damage that Eggman did was a spin from the Egg Dragoon and a punch from the Death Egg, Metal Sonic who carries the whole team but is not capable of killing a Kamek and Bowser JR, Sage who didn't really do anything crazy (like his only real action is to activate the Death Egg's laser but it could be done by the slightest Egg robot, plus she betrayed Eggman and joined Bowser's army just after the fight) plus the fact that she wasn't able to dodge JR's magic... like... you can follow Sonic but not avoid a magic ray that is a distance from earth to space? And Infinite reduced to a joke while the guy basically dominated a planet where there was Sonic, Shadow and Silver. While Bowser can do black holes, Jr who became an expert of magic that we've never do magic before, Kamek who does Mario Party stuff and King Boo who isn't even part of Bowser's army.
Ā
I think the worst part of all this is when in the post analysis they give the intelligence point to Eggman (which is true) but yet in the fight, he and his team did nothing intelligent. Really the smartest moves were made by Bowser's army... "All acording to plan" but man you lost one of your most powerful artifacts in your arcenal, Sage what is this lousy plan? And seriously, Eggman's final plan is to screw up everything but he targets the only guy who could block him.... If you want to destroy a planet, aim for a place where Bowser can't stop him, he's not even that fast.
Ā
There I have finished pouring my salt on the episode. Yet it's my favorite episode and I tend to agree with the episode overall (except for the army, ok he's more loyal but Eggman's army is more powerful) but here they downplayed Eggman's army a lot just to make Bowser look like a hero... because let's be honest, with this config if Eggman wins it will be a bad ending.
Recently moved in with my barely present parent who never paid child support because he spends all his money on cosplay. I needed to move back in bc I was having some problems with my mom and growing up the consequence was always getting sent to his house. I thought it would be best if we had our space because I do need to recover from my substance use addiction before I go back to school.
Heās always been very obsessed and controlling about my motherās life and my life especially. I caught him stalking me in his car and he admits to stalking my location often. He has an unhealthy relationship with his mom, she does his laundry, cooks, cleans, and she is 82. His dad was actually not present either and left him as a kid and started a new family but for some reason when his dad randomly reappeared and wanted to see his new children naked he was all the more glad to take us to our grandpas house every weekend and share photos of us. (No I do not remember my childhood and yeah I glad I donātš) in our teen years, he would sometimes drive me and my brother to school but the entire time us we are never going to be successful, and that he is the only person who cares and nobody will care about us as much as him ever, heās all we have, classic manipulation basically but I learned to tune him out with AirPods. Whenever I was sent to his house, I was never allowed to leave at all unless it was to go back to my momās house. He also secretly put me on his insurance plan despite the fact heās never even paid child support and he was not supposed to put me on it he can barely afford it. If I left the house or had a boyfriend he was LIVID. He HATED my current boyfriend especially and made us super uncomfortable, he would spam my mom about me getting pregnant and always be trying to get her to let him take me to the gyno.
Since Iāve moved in,
First he tried to act like a nice guy like he was super chill he was like oh I canāt believe your mom kicked you out Iām always on your side, You can just do whatever here I wonāt bother you, Your bf can stay here too if you want.
For the first week it was fine but since he always made me uncomfy I just avoided him was coming and going from the house and chilling w my bf here. He is an irritable person in general so everytime he left his room(he work from home)he just would complain to his mom about how everyone at his job is doing it wrong and everyoneās a problem except him.
Then he started progressively becoming more aggressive, slamming things, when my boyfriend was playing video games at night he yelled āYOU MOTHERFUCKER STILL UP??ā And eventually started shouting every morning āWAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!ā At 8am, one morning he kept going āWOO WOO WOO WOO WOOā yelling it so loud throughout the apartment, he spammed my phone a lot too. Iām not sure if heās on substances because I know he likes to steal peoples medications.
He started writing paragraphs about how boyfriends arenāt everything and to develop a new routine where I stay at his house and donāt see my bf or leave his house. He wrote texts so long that you have to click moreā¦
When I didnāt listen the first few times, because Iām an adult and Im not going to be controlled, he started texting me āyou have been warned.ā āIām just going to annoy you a lot prollyā (yes he said prolly, yes heās 57) and began spamming my phone.
Then he decided to text my boyfriendās mom telling her that Iām abusing my boyfriend and mistreating him. Btw I know itās word against word but I seriously have not even had a single ARGUMENT with this man since Iāve been here. And we do argue; but like for the time Iāve been here we havenāt argued and obviously I havenāt hurt him. But I wouldnāt be surprised if he thinks my boyfriend cooking for me occasionally or financially helping me is abuse, since he never has done those things in his life and couldnāt fathom doing those things for someone. But yeah he told my boyfriendās mom I am abusing him! And thatās just wonderful because I want to marry my boyfriend and his family might now have a bad opinion of me since heās saying Iāve been abusing him āthe entire time Iāve been hereā. I donāt even think I need to explain myself because itās silly I have to, when itās so untrue.
Anyways I just am hoping someone here can offer a little support and advice during this time.
I want to move out ASAP, I do have a plan to visit psychiatrist and be regulated before I begin school/work, currently I have the financial support of my boyfriend.

**1.Ā Your home equity is a gold-mine. If you need cash, stop taking out high-interest loans.**
So many people take out high-interest payday loans ā please donāt do this. If you get into trouble you can typically get a relatively low-interest HELOC (a home equity line of credit).
Essentially with a HELOC, youāre borrowing against the equity you have in your house and use it for whatever you need (much like a credit card).
Typically, youāll get lower interest rates and more flexible repayment terms compared to traditional loans.
Hereās a calculator you can use to see how much/little you could borrow ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=lt-home&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)).
Side note: if you hate debt, you can still get money out of your homeās equity by using something like [Hometap](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=hometap&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st), where you more or less sell investors a portion of your equity without a loan)
**2. Switch auto insurance companies every 6-12 months.**
If you havenāt compared auto insurance rates in the last 6 months, youāre probably overspending (on average by \~$400/year[Ā¹](https://betterbuck.net/content/heres-how-much-youre-actually-overpaying-for-car-insurance/?subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1028-New-HELOC1st-Source)).Ā
Example: I cut my car insurance bill by \~$1,300 this year by switching carriers (same exact coverage too) and it took me a whopping 5 minutes.
Take two minutes and pull up a comparison site (I used [Coverage.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st), [Auto-Savings.com](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=otto&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st) is fine too) and compare multiple offers from different companies in one go.
Worst case scenario: you stay with what youāve got. Best case scenario: you save a few hundred dollars a year.Hereās a link to a good comparison site:[ link](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st).
**3. Try and find the best price online.**
Big stores like Amazon know that no one has time to price shop through dozens of sites, so thereās often no incentive for them to offer bargain prices.
I typically hate browser extensions with a fiery passion, butĀ Capital One ShoppingĀ has always worked well for me and I'd recommend trying it ([link here](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=capitalone2&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)).
When you shop online (on Amazon or elsewhere) it will automatically compare prices for you, and auto-apply coupon codes when possible.
**4. Get yourself a dang advisor.**
Most people are under the false impression that financial advisors are just for wealthy people.
They absolutely arenāt: if you have a net worth of $100k+, you can typically qualify for an advisor. Having an advisor typically increases your yearly returns by 3%[Ā¹](https://corporate.vanguard.com/content/dam/corp/articles/pdf/putting_value_on_your_value_quantifying_vanguard_advisors_alpha.pdf) (mostly due to smarter tax planning)
If you donāt have an advisor in your family, use a site like [WiserAdvisor](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=wiser&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st) or [Zoe Financial](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=zoe&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st) to find somebody with good reviews in your area.
**5. You don't have to pay off your debt by yourself.**
Very few people know about it, but If you have $10k+ in debt, you can technically ask a debt relief to come in and take over the process for you.Ā
Itāll typically save you 23% off your total debt, after fees (according to NDR, a big debt relief company).Ā
Theyāll negotiate with your creditors and try to get your debt reduced (then they take a cut of the savings).
Typically people who are struggling with debt save 23% on avg. when they ask for help from debt relief companies.
Hereās a little calculator you can use to see how much youād potentially save: [link](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=ndr2&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)).
**6. Save on home insurance.**
Some homeowners save $1k+/year just by switching home insurance providers (typically saving them more than changing auto insurance policies).
If itās been over a year since youāve reviewed your rates, it might be worth taking a few minutes to compare offers. Hereās a home insurance comparison site Iāve used: ([link](https://betterbuck.net/view-nb.php?offer=bankrate-home&country=USA&subid=Red-Big-Mistakes-Homeowners-D2D-1029-Dekstop-HELOC1st)).

My original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/AITAH/s/N8IoQK8HMj
Before I begin this update I feel like there are a few things I need to clarify:
1. I made the original post to ask if I was the asshole for asking my husband for a divorce, since I thought it was the best course of action for both of us, not if I was the asshole for cheating. I am already aware that I am an asshole for doing that to him.
2. I said it was a drunken one night stand, but I never blamed the alchool. Yes, it was an external factor, but the blame is mine, because the decisions
leading to the infidelity were mine. Nothing forced me to cheat. I know that.
3. I didn't ask for a divorce because our progress was too slow, or not as fast as I would have liked. I was willing to work at a snails' pace. The problem was that the progress was non-existent. Not even a hint to show that we might be on the right direction. I felt that it wasn't right for either of us to forever remain in that limbo state.
Now for the update:
My husband came back home yesterday. He was a lot calmer and this time he started the conversation. Firstly he apologised for lashing out. He said that he had thought about it, and realized that he was only punishing me, without allowing himself to start healing and forgiving.
He asked if I really wanted a divorce. I said no, and that I loved him, but if he was never even at least considering to forgive me then there was no point in causing more pain to each other. He was silent for a moment, then he hugged me. That was all it took. I broke down crying and hugging him back. He promised that he would try to forgive me. I tried to take things a bit further and he let me.
I'm not going to lie and say that now everything is well. It was clear that the sex was still purely physical for him and after he didn't treat me much more differently than usual. But now I feel like there is an achievable goal ahead. And that we're both actively trying to achieve it. I guess we're not getting divorced yet.
Honestly, probably not many people wanted this update. I'm just highlighting my thoughts, because, again, I can't really talk to anyone else about this. Thank you to those who gave genuine responses to me in my first post.
**Agnolia has given up Dome and agreed to be a tributary To Valgos**
In recent news, the nations of Agnolia are force to concede to the giants of Rumburg and Valgos.
The treaties included that the Agnolia city of Dome to be given to Rumburg.
The treaty also includes that
Agnolia will be forced to pay daily tributaries to Valgos for the conceivable future.
Not all is bad for agnolia though as Valgos and Rumburg has agreed to help Agnolia deal with rebels in the country.

The little prehistory.
My account was restricted for non compliance with BBE policy last year. The next reevaluation was set to the last decade of the January this year. But no update on CBT dashboard happened. I adressed relevant messages to support team. First one was responded like you will get the answer in "48-72" hours ( it was a week ago btw). And the second this one. Lunar Hollydays , seriously?

So I'm planning my build on pc part picker and it says my motherboard is compatible with my cpu however it will require a bios update to work, how do I do this if the cpu won't work with it before the update?
